Feature Requests

We would love to hear your ideas to make Beacons better!
Blocking emails of users for misconduct
First, I love Beacons. Just so you know while reading this, it's been almost 2 years of being a client, and I cannot complain. Second, I am reaching out to request a new feature to permanently block specific users from our Beacons store. We have encountered situations involving certain users whom we no longer want to access our free or paid content. These cases are primarily related to security concerns and specific incidents involving users who have become problematic for our team but continue attempting to access resources intended exclusively for members of our community. At the moment, the platform only appears to allow us to remove these users from our customer database. However, deleting them is not sufficient, since they may still be able to register again, claim free products, or make future purchases using the same email address. We need a way to fully block a user so that they cannot make any future purchases, register for free products, or regain access to our store using the same email address. I am aware this feature is not currently available, so this is my formal feature request for inclusion in a future platform update. We believe store owners should have the ability to permanently restrict specific users from accessing or purchasing digital products when there are legitimate security, community management, or team safety concerns. This functionality would help businesses protect their teams, their digital products, and the integrity of their private communities, particularly in situations where problematic users refuse to respect access restrictions. I hope this request is accepted and implemented. My best wishes to the team!

Checkout Button Is Causing Customers to Abandon Their Purchase
Hi Beacons Team, I’m reaching out because I’m experiencing a major issue with the checkout flow that is costing me sales. I sell a $597 digital product, and many of my customers purchase using Klarna or Afterpay. Recently, the checkout experience changed, and now customers must: Select Klarna or Afterpay. Click a green button that says “Secure pay $597.” Only after clicking that button do they see their payment plan options. The problem is that many customers believe clicking “Secure pay $597” will immediately charge them the full amount. They become afraid to continue and abandon the checkout, even after I explain during my TikTok Lives that they won’t be charged $597 and that they’ll see their payment plans on the next screen. This has become a frequent concern, and I believe it’s negatively impacting my conversion rate. Is there any way to: * Customize the wording on that button? * Display something like “Continue to Payment Options” or “Review Payment Plans” instead? * Or allow customers to view their payment plan options before seeing a button that appears to charge the full purchase price? If this isn’t currently possible, I’d love for this to be submitted as a feature request. I think it would greatly improve the checkout experience for creators selling higher-ticket products with Buy Now, Pay Later options. Thank you for your time. I appreciate any guidance or updates you can provide. Best, Melissa Romero
