Request to Permanently Delete Old/Blank Digital Product Records
scaracktruther
Dear Beacons Support,
I hope this message finds you well.
I’m reaching out to request the permanent deletion of several digital product entries listed in my account history. These products were test drafts or incomplete listings that I created without realizing they would be permanently stored and appear in my product analytics and sales history.
They contain no actual content, were never seriously intended for sale, and are now cluttering my dashboard. I understand that Beacons maintains records for transparency and analytics, but in this case, the products in question had:
• No buyers
• No sales
• No downloadable content
• No meaningful metadata or pricing
I now realize the importance of being more deliberate in what I publish and will be much more thoughtful in the future. I simply want to keep my backend clean and professional, as I’m now actively selling real products and tracking meaningful performance metrics.
If possible, I kindly ask that you manually remove these blank or deleted products from my history to help improve the organization of my account.
Thank you very much for your time and understanding.
~ Sincerely,
Scarack Truther

Hiya scaracktruther, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you specify the criteria for identifying which products should be permanently deleted?
- Would you like an option to archive these products instead of deleting them permanently?
- Is there a specific timeframe or frequency for when you'd like these deletions to occur?

For your first question, I think we should be able to remove products we’ve already deleted, in case we don’t want to keep past analytics.
As for the second, adding an option to archive products would be helpful, so we can edit them later if needed.
Lastly, deletions to a product’s analytics should be instant, with a simple confirmation like: “Are you sure? This action is permanent.”

I have the same problem
I uploaded a wrong image to a link that I have already deleted, but the image remains saved in the Cortex gallery.
I would like to delete it because it is an image of a physical person and not of an object.
