T
Tobias Junglas
Please UPDATE the functions for the Disclaimers and Legal Notice.
I have been sending you the screenshots already by Email.
The Pop-Up regarding Cookies, Imprint and Privacy Policy, Data-Protection should be in the language and changeable, individualized or possible to be individualized according to the demands of the country of usage.
Germany has other regulations. Especially it hast to be shown in GERMAN LANGUAge.

DISCLAIMER - COOKIE-WARNING IN GERMAN LANGUAGE

Please could you make this Disclaimer-Tool adjustable to country-regulations.
The COOKIE-WARNING/DISCLAIMER has to be according to country regulations in GERMAN-SPEAKING countries in GERMAN LANGUAGE
Please could you provide this option to change this COOKIE-WARNING-DISCLAIMER as this might cause otherwise legal consequences for users in non-english-speaking countries of the EU.
Thanks a lot for your great job.

Thank you for posting, Tobias Junglas! I have a few more questions for you:
- Which specific country regulations should be considered for the disclaimer tool?
- Are there any specific legal texts or phrases that must be included in the German version of the cookie warning?
- Would you need similar adjustments for other languages or regions in the future?

Hello Jacob Choi-Durham,
it seems, that the regulations in the GERMAN-SPEAKING area as well as EUROPE are very strict compaired to other regions, for example aren't there any of those complications in Asia, especially South-East-Asia or South-America as far as I know.
Here in Germany and Europe we have very aggressive lawyer-teams, who are sending costly warnings and accusations, if the regulations aren't met.
It should be a COOKIE-WARNING like this one:
Diese Internetseite verwendet Cookies, um die Benutzerfreundlichkeit unserer Website zu verbessern. Durch die weitere Nutzung der Website stimmen Sie der Verwendung zu. Weitere Informationen hierzu finden Sie in unserer Datenschutzerklärung (LINK to privacy policies) und im Impressum (LINK to imprint).
BUTTON AKZEPTIEREN
BUTTON ABLEHNEN
Important is the GERMAN LANGUAGE of the TEXT and the 2 LINKS in the Cookie-Banner/Pop-Up for PRIVACY POLICIES and IMPRINT.
Does this help?
The best would be, that the text could be modified/adjusted by oneself.
FOR IMPRINT AND PRIVACY POLICIES
I did just use another Test-Building-BLOCK of the Website to set up those as an adaptation for our regulations. The elegant way would be a small link in the footer of the website. This does not exist yet.

EXAMPLE OF A PERFECT COOKIE PRIVACY WARNING
We use cookies on our website. Some of them are essential, while others help us improve this website and your experience.
If you are under 16 years of age and want to give consent to optional services, you must ask your legal guardian for permission.
We use cookies and other technologies on our website. Some of them are essential, while others help us improve this website and your experience. Personal data may be processed (such as IP addresses), e.g. for personalized ads and content or to measure ads and content. For more information about how we use your data, please see our privacy policy. There is no obligation to consent to the processing of your data in order to use this offer. Some services process personal data in the USA. With your consent to use these services, you also consent to the processing of your data in the USA in accordance with Art. 49 (1) lit. a GDPR. The ECJ classifies the USA as a country with insufficient data protection according to EU standards. For example, there is a risk that US authorities will process personal data in monitoring programs without Europeans having the opportunity to file a lawsuit.

This example would be the perfect EUROPEAN COOKIE-BANNER-Text.
It shows, how different regulations are in Germany/Europe and US.
That's why we need to inform our visitors, if a Website or parts of the service is based in the USA, that there are less restricted regulations in the US, for to fulfill the duty of informing correctly.
This is the reason, why the text in the cookie-banner needs to be in german language.
There is no need to have this full text in the Banner, but there has to be LINK possible to the imprint and privacy policies, which then can possibly include this informations.

This could be a possible solution according to european/german regulations:
There are LINKS to Cookie-Regulations, Imprint AND Privacy Policies.
So, it should be all linked in the Pop-Up-Information.

Hallo Jacob,
I will continue writing in English in this Forum:
Mmmmhhh - as I am not a laws-person and there are quite a few changes all the time, I am not up to date always.
Of course it could be convenient, if everything would be just automatized.
Still, this could cause trouble.
So what about not either or but both.
If the text could be customized, still there is a lot of opportunity.
Definitively in the Pop-Up should be the 2 LINKs to Imprint AND Privacy Policies.
The best way actually about Cookies is, ONLY to use them, if someone definitively agrees about this. Not even an either-or-choice.
NO Cookies until a visitor willingly agrees by pressing the button for acception.
Does this help?

Great to hear your perspective, Tobias Junglas! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific German regulations should we be aware of when updating the cookie and data policy pop-up?
- Are there any other languages or regions you anticipate needing similar updates for in the future?
- Would you like the ability to customize the text of the pop-up yourself, or should it be automatically adjusted based on the user's location?

COOKIE WARNING IN GERMAN:
It would be perfect if such text was in a window to block the view of the website by the visitor's decision. This is the only completely legally secure form of consent requirement.
As a workaround, it is possible to only display the short text in the COOKIE BANNER in the local language and set a link that leads to exactly this text in the imprint/data protection area of the website.
Where is the latter easy to install?
So far, a footer link is also missing on the website.
Thank you very much for your support.
