Payment plans by Beacons instead of Klarna or Affirm

I’m requesting to have access to payment plans directly through beacons like how Stan store does, so that our customers can make payments on high ticket items without using Klarna/affirm, etc. OR the beacons “membership” plan. So many people are cancelling their memberships and not paying for their digital products in full and this is a huge problem!

Hello, has this request been implemented because I don't see anything on my beacons ai space?

I want to be able to customize the amount of time a membership occurs. For example, once a month for 3 months then it ends after the third month.

Yes I would love this option

I really need this option too. As Australians we can only offer Klarna to other Australians, which puts us at a huge disadvantage! I would love my us/canadian/uk followers to have the option of paying for higher ticket items over 1-3 months. Thank you

Hi Katie, This is a good idea. How does Stan store ensure that you get paid on a payment plan and that the customer does not cancel the subscription after receiving the product?

Automatic cancelation of Membership

I would like Beacons to automatically cancel membeships of my clients. For example they pay only for two months and then the membership automatically ends. It would be great if I can set the length of the membership before the person purchases it from me.
The product would be called - 3month membership in my programme, the displayed price would be for one month. They purchase it and they have to pay all the 3 moths, if they won´t complete all 3 moths, they will lose the access to the course/programme.
Thank you

Thank you for posting, Martina Buriankova! I have a few more questions for you:
- Would you like the option to customize the duration of memberships for each individual product or service?
- Should the system automatically notify customers about the upcoming end of their membership?
- What should happen if a customer wants to renew their membership before it ends?

Thank you for posting, mamasrevenue! I have a few more questions for you:
- Could you provide more details on how you envision the payment plan structure directly through Beacons?
- What specific features of Stan store's payment plan do you find most appealing and would like to see in Beacons?
- Could you elaborate on the issues you are facing with Klarna/Affirm and how you think a Beacons' payment plan could solve these problems?

Jacob Choi-Durham I envision an option to make payments directly through beacons rather than having to choose a third party app such as Klarna/affirm. Some people do not qualify for Klarna/affirm depending on their location, etc. so the only other option for payments is to put them on a “membership” plan through the beacons store but this puts the seller at risk for the customer cancelling early and not paying in full for the digital product they’ve already received. This is a HUGE problem that is very common in the digital marketing community. Stan store has found a solution by adding payment options through their actual website.

Jacob Choi-Durham Could you provide more details on how you envision the payment plan structure directly through Beacons?
A payment plan solution without klarna and others directly with stripe exactly like Stan.
What specific features of the Stan Store payment plan do you find most attractive and would like to see in Beacons?
feature: Add a payment plan
Total price : ...
Repeat every: ... Annually, Monthly, Weekly, Bi-weekly, Every day
Payment: 1 month, 2 months, 3 months, 4 months, 5 months, 6 months...12 months
Plan fees (optional feature)
Could you explain the issues you are facing with Klarna/Affirm and comment on whether you think a payment plan from Beacons could resolve these issues?
Klarna/Affirm have ceilings, personally I cannot offer Klarna for products above $99, it is directly refused during validation, "Not available for this purchase" I think they have limits, given that it is a credit organization. So for all digital products over $100, mid-ticket, high ticket is very complicated to sell at once..
Regarding unpaid debts, it is up to everyone to put in place clauses and a recovery service. With late payment penalties or even proposed fees for installment payment. And also to maintain proximity to the customer, good customer service. (Perhaps a reminder functionality before payment of the monthly payment could be set up by Beacons, an email for example to warn of the monthly payment, that would be excellent and would reduce unpaid debts!!)
Information: It would be really cool to be able to enable or disable this feature directly per product.
That is to say, manage payments directly on the product page in several installments depending on each product.
Because some products are payment once and seeing Klarna or Affirm logos or payment in several installments can mislead the customer.
The goal is to always facilitate and streamline the customer experience!!

Jacob Choi-Durham I'd also like to add that even within a membership payment structure, there isn't currently a feature to stop the recurring payment at a designated point in time - ie stop after 3 payments or 4 payments, etc. This requires a manual prompt by us.

Thibault Masset with membership - is the payment automated or does the client have to pay the membership similar to an invoice (versus directly charged)?
Thibault Masset
I'm not talking about membership but rather an installment payment as offered by Stan, System io or GoHighLevel
Offer the customer the opportunity to pay in 3 or 4 installments or more depending on the settings. And therefore avoid going through Klarna and others.
To my knowledge, this functionality is done very simply with Stripe ;)

Thibault Masset yes that I understand, but in the interim and until Beacons sets up the installment feature - the way the membership is set up - i have yet to use it and wondering if the monthly payments are automated?
Thibault Masset
Sera ah that I don't know at all because I don't have a subscription, in the meantime I go through Systeme io to offer payment in several installments and my funnels.

I would also like to attach a picture here to give a better idea on how it would show on the payment screen. This is a really good option for us to cater a wider range of customers.
