I mean I tested out the, "back" button on explorer and it worked so that is the best alternative truly. It would be cool to have a "back" in the top left corner of the browser IF it wasn't a mediakit but I think the way you did it is best as it's information that is already there and will provide the mediakit with less clutter and distractibility from important features (design, layout, contents).

I just don't think many will know of it's use especially non-beacons users as I myself am an avid user of beacons and did not know!
