I would like the design and text to transfer when duplicating products. There is barely any point to doing it right now, and it would be really helpful in keeping brand and messaging consistency.

Could you please specify which elements of the design and text you would like to be transferred when duplicating products?
Are there any specific features or elements that you find are currently not being duplicated that you would like to see included?
Could you provide an example of a situation where the current duplication process has caused inconsistency in your brand or messaging?

The choice of font, colors, and layout. So basically all design elements.
Yes. Custom fields in checkout and the email confirmation sequence.
Well as you are able to edit the colors, fonts, and layout. I like to maintain a consistent color pallet. Previously my own palette was saved which made it easier. Now I fill in the hex codes manually for each element when I create a new product. Every element that has to be manually entered or transferred has a risk of being missed and thus creating inconsistency. Being able to create a template in store settings I guess would solve the same problem.
