Email Automation Continuation Feature
Rachael
It would be amazing to have a feature that continues the email automation. So, for example, if someone is in my freebie email automation, then they get to the 20th email (last email), it would automatically trigger that contact to my secondary email automation.
Even having a way where we create the secondary email automation with new triggers: "contact completes freebie email automation triggers start".

Automatically Trigger New Automation When One Ends

I’d love the ability to automatically send a user into a new automation when they complete an existing one.
Use case:
Let’s say a customer completes an email funnel—such as a product delivery sequence, challenge series, or nurture funnel. When they reach the final step of that automation, I’d like to automatically trigger a new automation (e.g., an upsell sequence, testimonial request series, or the next phase of their journey).
Ideal functionality:
Add an “End-of-Automation Trigger” that sends a subscriber directly into another automation
Optional toggle to remove them from the completed automation or simply mark it as complete
Ideally customizable, so I can choose which next funnel to route them into
This would make email journeys more seamless and allow for multi-stage funnels without manual tagging or intervention.
Thanks for considering this—would be a huge time-saver and help create more intelligent email flows!

This would really be amazing. I'm also about to move my things to beacons and it's an issue that I can't add my existing contacts to an automation - this would also solve that issue by being able to trigger an automation from a tag. And also that "Add trigger from tag xx, but skip if the contact also have tag xx" would be a really nice feature to have

Hello Rachael! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific criteria should trigger the transition from the freebie email automation to the secondary email automation?
- How would you like to manage contacts who are already in the secondary email automation?
- Are there any specific conditions or exceptions for contacts transitioning between email automations?
Rachael
Jacob Choi-Durham Hello, thank you for your response!
- The criteria should be triggered by a "tag". So this idea comes from something I've seen on ManyChat -- the Beacons system if it could add a tag, that automatically tags contacts that have successfully completed X email automation, it would auto tag that contact completed email automation freebie.
Next, when I create the email sequence campaign from scratch (the second email automation ) when it asks "what triggers the start of this email automation?" , it can have an option of adding contacts with the tag
completed email automation freebie
.- I would like to manage contacts who are already in the secondary email automation by having a contact tag or if that's not possible, the contact also gets an auto tag at the end completed secondary email automationAND still has tagcompleted email automation freebie. Maybe this would be a way to manage it?
- Possible conditions or exceptions might be if a customer purchases a product (and have options, a specific product, multiple products, or even all products. an idea for this could be offering the options as a list with checkboxes next to it).
I hope this makes sense! Thank you!

Another way to fix this, would be to make the email automations allow at least 50 emails. because 20 emails is not enough. Once they're done with the automation, then they just never get my emails unless I send a broadcast to everyone. I would like to be able to automate an email sequence that is longer if possible! I think it would make a huge difference on conversions too, as people don't read every single email you send, so it's more points of contact to lead to the sale.
