Timed release of course modules

I have a digital download as my low ticket offer which also links to an upsell to a subscription based product.
The subscription involves the supply of done for you content which is released every 30 days beyond the date of initial sign up.
I would like to structure my products as follows:
Level One
Someone pays a one off fee for a low ticket product which I would like to host as module one within an online portal. They will be able to see placeholders for module two plus months one to twelve where DFY content will reside.
Level Two
They commit to paying a monthly subscription at which point having made the first payment, module two plus month one content are accessible to them. 30 days later month two unlocks and so on
Is this possible within Beacons Courses and if so are you able to provide me with step by step instructions please?

Hiya Steve Marsh, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- What specific features or functionalities do you envision for the online portal to host the modules?
- Are there any specific requirements for the placeholders for future modules and content?
- Do you have any preferences for how the subscription payments should be managed or tracked within the system?

Hi, thanks for your reply.
Initially I was intending to link my low ticket offer in the form of an ebook to the confirmation of purchase email in the standard digital product download style.
Within the ebook will be an upsell to a monthly subscription whereby every 30 days the customer receives an email with a pre populated content calendar for use throughout the following month. Within the calendar will be strategically designed, emotionally driven post content.
In the short term I can run that way but I’m thinking wouldn’t it be great to host all of those things online via login rather than spreadsheets etc.
I have no intention of creating video training, everything will be text based (at least to start with) so in answer to your questions I am open to any suggestions you might have.
I also feel that the ability to host online will encourage upsell too.
I hope that helps?

Yes exactly. Needs to be released to keep interest and customers for long time.

Hiya alektrikwellness, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- Could you provide more details on how you would like the content to be dripped? For example, should it be based on a specific schedule or based on the student's progress?
- What kind of content will you be dripping? Are they videos, text-based lessons, quizzes, or something else?
- Would you like to have the ability to customize the drip content schedule for each student or should it be the same for all students?

- I would like content to be dripped per schedule where it can be set for time periods (like 1 week, 1 day, etc.) and also set by specific date, if needed. For example, if I was to advertise a course and it sells before the course drops, I would like students to be able to access the intro lesson immediately, but then have the weekly content start to drip on a certain date. More lessons will be available on a weekly basis via drip schedule settings.
- The way the course builder is currently set up, we are able to add modules that contain different lessons. I would like the modules to have the drip settings available. So, any lessons I have inside a module (vidoes, text lesson, quizzes) wil be accessible once the module drips.
- At this moment, I don't see a need to customize the drip content schedule for each student, but I would like the option to choose whether the student's content begins to drip when they purchase/enroll or when they access the course for the first time.
Thanks so much!
