Since my request has been merged in here I wanted to drop this information here.
Today is September 30th, it is 10:18 pm EST but my analytics for my email marketing on my dashboard states I've had 1 person open an email already on 10/01/2024. It isn't even 10/01 yet. IDK if it's reading it based on the timezones of others, but that's very confusing for ME, the owner of the page/account, and unsure when to send out emails with data that may be reading off other's timezones and not my own.
Overall just need better analytics. Real time. More options for social media platforms instead of just 'other' whether its for emails or store, etc...

Insights relating to user timezone
AJB Digital
I am based in the UK and my insights are quite confusing as they are showing in a different time zone so it is hard to use the analytics to inform my business decisions. For example today is 13th September but my store insights show visits on 14th September.
Any support with this would be beneficial.

Reset Clicks or Analytics

Dear Beacons.ai, I’ve been a user of your platform and have found it very helpful in organizing all of my socials in one place! While I love the ability to track my analytics, I wish there was an option to reset them. Currently, the only way to do so is by creating a new link-in-bio page and deleting the previous one. I bring this to your attention because there are instances where I remove a link from my page, and the analytics for the link are still there. This can be resolved if I could reset the analytics. Thanks for understanding. 😉

In Depth Analytics
anjhustles
I'd love to see more in depth analytics for link in bio. being able to see live data for one would be awesome, seeing who is on my website right now at this moment and what page they are looking at.
Being able to see where they are traveling to on my page would be pretty neat so that I can fiz things on my site as to what products or information to showcase on those said spaces.
Having analytics show more than just the 7days, 14 days, 30 days, etc.. I want to be able to select a date range myself.
I am a numbers/data girly and it helps A TON when I get all that information broken down.

Hello anjhustles! I have a few more questions for you:
- Could you provide more details on the specific data points you'd like to see in the live data analytics?
- When you mention 'where they are traveling to on my page', are you referring to the user journey within your page or the links they click that lead them away from your page?
- Could you clarify what specific date ranges you would find most useful for your analytics?

Thank you for asking for clarification. Here’s what I’d like to see:
- Live Data Analytics: I’m referring to real-time insights, so I’d like to know when a customer or supporter is currently visiting. If I log in, I’d like to see a notification like “1 viewer on site,” and, upon clicking that, I would love to see the following:
- Location: Not exact, but a general breakdown such as state, country, or continent.
- Customer Type: Whether they are a repeat visitor or a first-time viewer, possibly based on cookies or IP addresses if that’s feasible.
- Page View: Which specific page they are looking at in real-time.
- User Journey: Yes, I’m referring to the journey a customer takes while navigating. Being able to track where they land, how long they stay on each page, and what they navigate to next would be extremely valuable. This would help me understand customer interests and improve navigation and page design.
- Date Ranges for Analytics: I would like the option to select a custom range of dates, rather than predefined options like "last 7 days" or "last 30 days." Being able to manually select specific start and end dates would provide more flexibility in tracking and analyzing data over various periods.
- Exporting Analytical Information: It would also be great to have the option to export analytical data. If you don’t want to store analytics beyond 90 days, allowing us to export that information before it expires would be very helpful. I know there’s an export option under orders, but I’d like to see more analytics data, such as what days are most popular, to identify trends. I’m very data-driven, and having access to these insights helps me understand how I can improve my business, content, and marketing.
Additionally, I’ve noticed discrepancies between what my analytics show and what my orders reflect. Sometimes, the analytics numbers are off by a few cents, and at other times, they can be off by $20-$40. I currently have to manually calculate my gross and net income (after payment processor fees) by going into my orders day by day, which can be frustrating.
Let me know if this provides enough clarity, or if you need more information!

Hey Scarack Truther, thanks for your feedback! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details on how often you would like to reset your analytics?
- Would you prefer to reset analytics for individual links or for the entire page?
- Are there any specific metrics within the analytics that you would like to have the ability to reset?

Hi, thanks for the response! For your first question, I think being able to reset the analytics at any time would be great but I wouldn’t mind having a week or month limit either.
When it comes to individual links over an entire page, I think it would be great if we had both options. That way we can decide whether we want to reset a specific link, or our entire page.
On your final question, I would prefer that all of the metrics were reset such as clicks, views, and crt; including filter. Finally, there should be a warning before making the reset.

Great to hear your perspective, AJB Digital! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you please specify the time zone that your insights are currently displaying in?
- Would you prefer to have the ability to manually set your preferred time zone for analytics or should it automatically adjust based on your location?
- Are there any other aspects of the analytics that you find confusing or difficult to interpret?
AJB Digital
Jacob Choi-Durham Where would I find out the time zone please? All I can see is that I just put a sale through right now which is (13th September 21:00 UK time) but it has come through on my analytics as (14th September) however in the orders it is 13th September so it gets confusing.
From my perspective either manual or automatic works fine, if it was manual I assume this would be a setting applied and then only updated when necessary, so for example it wouldn't default back to X time zone. If I set it to GMT it would stay as that?
The other thing I find confusing is if I look at the insights from the link in bio page, the sales section does not include my affiliate sales?
Thank you for taking the time to consider my feedback.

I think Pinterest, Lemons8 and Benable should be added to the Insights part of Traffic tracking.
Sonja Bateh
I would like to be able to see the traffic that is coming from a Pinterest pin that I e attached one of my shorten links to, if someone visited my page from Lemons8 or clicked my affiliate link from Benable.
