The one thing I absolutely want to have is AfterPay as a option for payment plans. Most of my audience has been asking for it. I've been having issues with using Stripe individual payment links where it doesn't give the offer for AfterPay, I'm not sure why -- but I'd REALLY love it if Beacons could partner up with them someway some how do your magic Beacons team, you've never let me down before - please get afterpay as a lot of people use them and trust them over Klarna and Affirm plus Klarna has even declined me sometimes for purchases and I know it's happening to others.

Thank you for posting, bex! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details about how you envision the integration of clearpay/afterpay into our platform?
- What specific features of clearpay/afterpay are your customers most interested in?
- How important is the addition of clearpay/afterpay to your continued use of our platform?

Jacob Choi-Durham i think that a lot more people get accepted for clearpay afterpay therefore gives them a better chance at purchasing our products creating potential sales for us, if someone doesn’t get accepted for klarna they can then also try clearpay i would really like it if you added this feature to your website as i find it important for me to continue using beacons i didn’t know you didn’t offer this when i switched from stan

Yes I wish this was an option without having to use stripe. I am not a huge customer service fan with them and only use paypal

Add Afterpay Payment Option

shemikaphillips
Please add afterpay. Afterpay is much needed for those that are not approve with affirm or klarna. Afterpay makes it easier for customers to get approve, and for sellers like myself still earn income from those customers or clients. Not every client is credit worthy and that’s what can help customers get approve.

anjhustles
Yes this… theres a few of us having asked for this and a few other payment options for a while now

Thank you for posting, shemikaphillips! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details on how you envision the integration of Afterpay into our platform?
- Are there specific features of Afterpay that you believe would be particularly beneficial to our users?
- Do you have any suggestions on how we can communicate the addition of Afterpay to our existing customers?

shemikaphillips
Please add afterpay. Afterpay is much needed because it helps buyers get approved, and we sellers get paid on the backend. Afterpay helps with customers who have not so good credit get approve, and help us sellers as well with higher conversion.

Hiya anjhustles, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide more details about the issues you've been experiencing with Stripe individual payment links?
- What specific features of AfterPay make it a preferred option for your audience?
- Have you used AfterPay on other platforms and if so, what has been your experience?

Hi Jacob,
Thanks for reaching out with your questions. I'd be happy to provide more details.
- Absolutely! While Stripe individual payment links are generally a convenient option, I've encountered a specific issue that's been quite challenging:
AfterPay Visibility Issue: Even though AfterPay is toggled on in my Stripe settings, customers often only see Klarna and Affirm as options. This happens even for amounts over $100, despite the usual minimum being $50 for AfterPay.
Inconsistent Functionality: I've tried toggling AfterPay off and on multiple times, but it still doesn’t appear properly on the payment link. This is frustrating because it worked perfectly when I first added it to my product descriptions.
Impact on Customer Experience: This inconsistency can lead to customer confusion and frustration. Many customers might not reach out to clarify and instead may leave the site without making a purchase because they don’t see their preferred payment option.
Need for Integration: Integrating AfterPay directly through Beacons could simplify this process. It would ensure customers see the option without having to check the product descriptions or contact me first, reducing potential missed sales and improving the overall customer experience.
- AfterPay is becoming increasingly popular with my audience due to several key features:
Interest-Free Installments: AfterPay allows customers to split their purchases into four interest-free installments. This makes it easier for them to manage their budgets and makes higher-priced items more accessible.
Instant Approval: The approval process for AfterPay is quick and straightforward, which means customers can start using it immediately without a lengthy credit check process.
Enhanced Spending Power: By offering a buy now, pay later option, customers feel more empowered to make purchases they might otherwise hesitate on due to upfront costs.
Increased Conversion Rates: AfterPay can lead to higher conversion rates and increased average order values. Customers are more likely to complete their purchases when they know they can pay over time.
Better Bank Compatibility: Many of my customers have experienced issues with Klarna, where their bank or debit cards aren't accepted. However, these same cards work perfectly with AfterPay, making it a more reliable option for them.
Integration with E-commerce Platforms: AfterPay integrates seamlessly with many popular e-commerce platforms, making it easy for businesses to implement and offer as a payment option.
- Yes, I have used AfterPay on other platforms and the experience has generally been positive. Here are some observations:
Previous Experience with Stan Store: Before using Beacons, I used Stan Store, which has AfterPay and Apple Pay integrated. This made it significantly easier for my customers and myself to promote products anywhere without worrying about payment option issues. The variety of payment options available meant there were fewer hurdles for customers, leading to smoother transactions.
Trust and Reliability: I have a strong preference for AfterPay over Klarna and Affirm due to past experiences. My bank cards often don’t work with Klarna or Affirm, and I've been denied by them before. However, AfterPay has never denied me, and my bank cards always work with them. This reliability builds trust, which I believe is crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction.
Customer Satisfaction: Feedback from customers has been overwhelmingly positive. They appreciate the flexibility and convenience that AfterPay offers.
Increased Sales: There has been a noticeable uptick in sales and average order value since implementing AfterPay. Customers seem more inclined to make larger purchases when they have the option to pay in installments.
Support and Service: AfterPay’s customer support has been responsive and helpful, which is crucial when resolving any issues or answering questions both I and my customers might have.
Overall, AfterPay has been a valuable addition to my payment options, helping to boost sales and improve customer satisfaction. I believe having the ability to add more payment options like ApplePay and AfterPay through Beacons would further enhance the customer experience. Even though there might be additional processing fees, it should be up to us to decide which payment processors to utilize, just like how Stripe allows us to toggle these options on or off.
You know where beacons has the toggle for payment plans, somewhere in settings we should be able to toggle what type of payment processors we'd like to accept on our stores and not have everyone using the same ones as some may not want to use all or certain processors due to the % of fee's. It should be optional and somewhere in settings where we can toggle it on as long as payment plans are toggled on for that said product.
