Add KWAI in platform
Jacob Choi-Durham
Hi Janaína Reis — thanks for the suggestion! Quick questions so we understand what you’re looking for: for the “KWAI connection,” what would you want it to do inside Beacons (ex: connect/link your Kwai profile, sign in with Kwai, pull analytics, auto-post, etc.)? And when you mention Twitter and Facebook, are you hoping for the same exact type of integration there too? Lastly, what’s the main outcome you’re trying to get from connecting these platforms (drive traffic to your Beacons page, grow followers, manage everything in one place, track performance, etc.)?

Jacob Choi-Durham Good morning Jacob! Sorry for the delay, I hadn't seen your message, I reloaded the site and it showed up. Since I am a Product Manager, I will help you with pain that I see that I have and other creators that use the platform may be experiencing as well. I believe that having general metrics for conversion, engagement, followers, views, MOM/DAU/YOY format, the last 30 days and the last 7 days, previewing the posts is interesting for those who want to form a partnership or collaboration. In addition, having this vision of Growth analytics helps to have visibility of growth, predict evolutions in videos seeing what floated and what gave hype, and thus act on improvements in each channel. The metric chart is good too. As a suggestion for evolution, I saw in other media kits that they provide metrics for each video, which I also found very interesting (e.g. Playnest). And I know it can be a lot, but bringing data from Facebook, Twitter, Kwai and other widely used platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, etc. can expand your portfolio and bring more customers. And one idea that I haven't seen anywhere yet that might be interesting is the subscriber progress bar, so it motivates anyone who wants to support the channel. Well.. I hope my tips helped. Huge roadmap, worth about 2 years haha And if you have an open vacancy as a PM or DPM, remember me. I am waiting for the updates to be validated. A hug!

Jacob Choi-Durham Good morning Jacob! Sorry for the delay, I hadn’t seen your message, but I reloaded the site and it showed up. As a Product Manager, I’ll share some pain points I’ve experienced and that other creators using the platform might also have. I believe having overall metrics like conversion, engagement, followers, and views, in formats like MOM/DAU/YOY, as well as the last 30 days and last 7 days, plus a preview of posts, would be very useful for anyone looking to establish partnerships or collaborations. In addition, having this Growth analytics view helps provide visibility into growth, anticipate trends in videos by analyzing what flopped and what gained traction, and act on improvements for each channel. The metrics chart is also a great feature. As a suggestion for future improvements, I’ve seen other media kits include metrics per video, which I found very interesting as well (example Playnest). I know it might be a lot, but integrating data from Facebook, Twitter, Kwai, and other widely used platforms like Spotify and Apple Music could expand your portfolio and attract more clients. Another idea I haven’t seen anywhere yet, but could be interesting, is a subscriber progress bar, it could motivate people to support the channel. Well, I hope my suggestions help. That’s quite a roadmap, probably two years’ worth haha. And if there’s any opening for a PM or DPM, remember me! Looking forward to the updates that get validated. Best regards!
