Add Automated “Request a Review” Email for Digital Product Purchases

The instructional video on your website explaining how to add an automated “leave a review” email for customers appears to be outdated. Specifically, the “Email Receipt” page no longer displays the “Request a Review” option referenced in the video.
I’ve thoroughly searched across the Beacons dashboard and settings but have been unable to find any way to enable or configure an automated review request email for customers who purchase digital products. This feature is extremely important for collecting feedback and building trust with my audience.
Could you please clarify whether this feature has been removed, relocated, or is currently experiencing an issue? If it has been removed, I strongly urge your team to consider reinstating it, as it plays a critical role in product growth and customer engagement.
I would appreciate it if this issue could be addressed as soon as possible. If there is no resolution or clear path forward, I may need to consider transitioning my digital products to another platform such as Stan Store.
Thank you for your time and support. I look forward to your prompt response.

⭐️ stars or a link to leave a Review
TEE NICOLE
In a post purchase email automation, I'd like the ability to send a customer a link to leave a review. When i send them an email asking for a review, i think it would be helpful to include a link to review the product(s) they purchased. It would be quick and easy for them. They'd just select how many ⭐️ they'd give it and write a few words, if they want; and when they submit, it'll go to the product page or to holding space where I can choose to publish it for the product(s).
Or can it create a star ratings selection block as one of the email creating blocks so customers can choose how many stars to give the product or service as part of the review they're leaving in that post purchase email?
That would make it helpful and easy to ask for and get reviews to our products and services at a future point after the sale.
Thanks.

Ask for reviews email block
Shannon O'Neil
I’ve just launched a course and would like to ask members to leave a review. However when checking, it seems there isn’t a link / button block for them to leave a review.
This used to be an option as a follow-up email but it doesn’t seem to be anymore?
Someone else submitted this suggestion and it was marked as complete; the advice given was to setup an email automation. But on the email automations, there’s no block available to ask for reviews.
A simple workflow could be that a ‘review block’ link would take them to their Beacons purchases section (how they access the course and they can see all their products), and adding a review button next to it below the product, by the ‘take course’ button. And the same in the ‘digital downloads’ section.
Because currently it’s a lot to ask someone to find the original confirmation email just to leave a review, and results in people not bothering! Thanks

Hi Shannon O'Neil — thanks for sharing this (and for the detailed workflow idea). Totally hear you on how hard it is to get reviews if customers have to dig up an old confirmation email. Appreciate the feedback here — we’re going to take a look on our side and follow up once we have an update.

Hi Chris H — thanks for flagging this. Appreciate you taking the time to dig through the dashboard and call out that the video doesn’t match what you’re seeing on the Email Receipt page. We’re going to look into whether the “Request a Review” email option was moved, removed, or if something’s not loading correctly on your end, and we’ll follow up as soon as we have more clarity.

Hello TEE NICOLE! I have a few more questions for you:
- What platform or service do you currently use for post-purchase email automation?
- Would you prefer the review link to direct customers to a specific review platform or a custom review page on your website?
- How would you like to handle the reviews once they are submitted? For example, should they be automatically published or would you prefer to review them first?
