Ability to add video in product description
S
Sara Cravener
I would love the ability to input a video in the product description (instead of just in the media). I personally love being able to describe a specific part of a product, input a video explaining further, then still be able to put more text underneath. I hope this makes sense!
Thank you!

Direct Video Upload for Digital Product Pages
P
Pécsi Norbert
Hi Beacons team,
I’d like to suggest a feature that allows users to directly upload videos into the product description sections of digital product pages. Currently, embedding videos is the only option, but having the ability to upload videos directly would make it much easier to create engaging and visually dynamic product descriptions.
In today’s funnel-driven world, video is an essential tool for capturing attention and driving conversions. Being able to seamlessly integrate videos into the product description text would be a powerful addition to your platform.
Thank you for considering this improvement—I’m sure many creators would appreciate it!
Best regards,
Norbert Pecsi

Add Loom Video and Adilo Video Link for email and courses
shamabesley
Would love to be able to use Loom Video and Adilo to link to my courses and to use in my emails.
Sometimes I just need to make a short promo video and I don't want to hassle with Youtube.
Thank you!

Hi there Jacob,
- I use Loom video to record (or Awesome screenshot) to record my content pretty much exclusively (all the time EVERY DAY) as it's extremely easy and captures transcriptions for clients and for courses. So I use these tools ALL the time for my emails and courses currently. And being able to simply paste the link hem through Beacons.ai emails, Link in Bio offers, and courses would make life super easy as I don't have to record it YouTube or upload it in YouTube or Vimeo.
- Ease of use. In case you are up for it...any video link uploads for Email, LIB, Courses like Google Meet, Loom, Adilo, Awesome Screenshot - SO HELPFUL for coaches.
- Loom tracks analytics and so does Adilo - so no additional analytics is necessary on your end as they both host the video content and offer watch, names, users, etc. If you wanted to add simple analytics that would be fine.

Hey Pécsi Norbert, thanks for your feedback! I have a few more questions for you:
- What file formats and maximum file size would you prefer for the video uploads?
- How do you envision the video upload feature affecting the overall user experience on the product pages?
- Are there any specific analytics or metrics you would like to track for the uploaded videos?

Hiya shamabesley, thanks for this post! I have a few more questions for you:
- How frequently do you plan to use Loom Video and Adilo links in your courses and emails?
- Are there specific features of Loom Video and Adilo that are essential for your use case?
- Would you need any analytics or tracking capabilities for the videos linked in your emails and courses?

I totally agree, the product area for images and video doesn’t display well to indicate that there is even a video there to play. The play button is a bit clunky and will lead to the customer skipping maybe the most important aspect of your digital product sales presentation.

Thank you for posting, Sara Cravener! I have a few more questions for you:
- Could you provide more details on the type of video formats you would like to use in the product description?
- Would you like the video to autoplay or should it require user interaction to play?
- Do you have any specific requirements for the video controls (like play, pause, volume, etc.) in the product description?
