Hello Beacons users!
Exciting new update: We’ve launched of our 2-Factor Authentication (2FA) feature, designed to make your account even more secure. You can find the toggle to enable it within your Account Settings (under your password) here: https://account.beacons.ai/account-settings/home/profile

Switching from Linktree and Bitly, both have 2FA. It's a basic security feature nowadays.

Two-Step Verification

As a platform with the ability to connect banking information, Beacons should support two-step verification. This is a standard security business practices these days and is incredibly important to the average consumer.

Hello thestick22@gmail.com! I have a few more questions for you:
- Can you provide examples of two-step verification methods you would like to see implemented?
- Are there specific situations or actions within the platform where you would like two-step verification to be required?
- Would you prefer the two-step verification to be optional or mandatory for all users?

Jacob Choi-Durham Sure no problem!
- Via authentication app would be my preferred method, but SMS/email verification is good too.
- I would say that changing any profile information like email or password would require 2FA. Also changing banking/PayPal information should require it.
- I think it being optional for all users is best, as some users may not have much sensitive information on their accounts.
Hope this helps to clarify!

This feature is a must-have. With financial integrations like Stripe and bank accounts, this should be offered as a standard security feature.

Hey everyone, thanks for voting on this feature. I would love to know, is this something you would be willing to pay for, and if so how much? Should it be included in the entrepreneur plan or something separate?

Ben Woytowich: I think this is important enough that users should not have to pay for it. It’s basic account protection and everyone should have access to that without an extra fee. Every other platform, including your competitors (LinkTree) offer this with no fees.

Agreed. Even Linktree has this. Beacons should too.
