Case Study insights value input no longer allows freetyped text
distalsplace
In my previous case study insights, I could free type text in the 'value' section such as "$300 raised" when talking about charity situations. I can no longer use any form of symbols or characters that are not digits, k/m/b, or decimals. This has limited my ability to share metrics in a correct visual format that are not defined only by a nondescriptive digit. Especially with the loss of any $ use. Not sure if this is now a new restriction to insights.

Hi distalsplace — thanks for flagging this, that’s really helpful. It does sound like a new restriction may have been introduced on the Case Study insights “value” field (e.g., blocking symbols like “$” and other non-numeric characters). Our team is going to look into what changed here and we’ll follow up once we have more info.
